This is a full-time, on-site role for a Special Academic Instructor located in Selma, CA. The Special Academic Instructor will work directly with children to provide individualized education plans, support their academic growth, and implement strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, progress monitoring, collaborating with other professionals, and maintaining open communication with families to ensure each child’s success.

• Strong skills in creating and implementing individualized education plans, instructional strategies, and lesson planning
• Experience with child development, special education, and fostering academic growth
• Effective communication, collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams, and consultation skills
• Organizational and problem-solving skills to assess progress and adapt teaching techniques as necessary
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field
• Prior experience working with children with special needs is strongly preferred
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to meeting diverse learning requirements
