Job Description

The confidential company is one of the largest privately held companies providing wellheads, gate valves, check valves, and surface safety systems for the worldwide oil and gas industry. Key position functions:

  • Ensure that timecards are completed and reported for processing in a timely manner
  • Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, organization, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects
  • Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions
  • Assist Supply Chain Management as directed
  • Provide support to Sales Team, Sales Manager, General Manager and President.
  • Responsible for purchasing of all office supplies
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports, assist with MRs and work with other administrative personnel to ensure all required paperwork is submitted
  • Make travel arrangements when necessary
  • Organize offsite meetings when required
  • Coordinate trade shows – contracts, schedules, booth set-up, merchandizing, travel, etc.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, evaluating new equipment and techniques
  • Other duties as may be requested

Preferred candidates will possess a combination of the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office skills
  • Proficient in the use of SAP required
  • Proficient in Synerion would be a benefit
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Proficient written, verbal and reading (English)
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to be flexible with work demands and meet required deadlines
  • Purchasing and accounting experience preferred
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
