Intern Trainer – Utah Prep (Start Date: August 1 or earlier)
Utah Prep Academy, an international preparatory boarding school located in Hurricane, Utah, is seeking a motivated and disciplined Intern Trainer to join our sports medicine team. Situated on a picturesque 55-acre campus near Zion National Park and approximately 95 minutes from Las Vegas, Utah Prep offers a unique blend of rigorous academics, elite athletics, and leadership development programs.
While applications are welcome from all qualified candidates, we are particularly interested in interns based in Utah or the Las Vegas area due to proximity to campus and the potential for easier integration into the program.
This is an unpaid or stipend based internship . Housing and meals may be offered for the right candidate. Reporting directly to the Head Trainer, the Intern Trainer will assist with daily taping, strapping, and injury prevention routines. Additional responsibilities include supporting player recovery protocols—such as cold tub management, guided stretching, and rehab exercises—as well as tracking recovery metrics and maintaining a clean and fully equipped training environment. The role also requires availability for home and away events, offering valuable sideline experience.
Ideal candidates are enrolled in or have completed relevant coursework in sports science, athletic training, or physiotherapy, possess strong interpersonal and professional skills, and are preferably CPR/First Aid certified. Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
