Job Title: Assistant Project Manager
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL (with some site travel)
Pay: $22-24/HR (Annual $65-70k) based on experience
Shift: M-T 8-5, F 8-12
Hours: 45-50/week
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree: Engineering or Building Sciences degree preferred, but Construction, Operations, and Business Management type degrees are also acceptable
- Problem solver - Very eager to learn, go getter - Proficient in Excel, Pivot tables experience preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is searching for an Assistant Project Manager for one of their construction and fabrication clients based out of Tuscaloosa, AL. The scope of work includes having exposure to both pre-construction and project execution. Pre-construction activities would include project estimates, quantity take-offs, vendor and subcontractor coordination, and scheduling. Project execution activities would include hands-on experience with project controls and project tracking. This individual will track to become a Project Manager in an average of two year’s time. This person should expect about 15% travel per year and about 45-50 hours per week.
