Position Summary
MAGNA-TILES® is seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our growing team! As the #1 Magnetic Building Sets brand in the U.S. [1] , we’re experiencing tremendous growth and looking to welcome a new teammate to help us further scale and optimize our fulfillment warehouse.
As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations for our rapidly growing company. This role is critical to ensure all orders are shipped on time and accurately. We expect this role to be a leader in maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse. The position will report to the Director of Operations and will work alongside the current Assistant Warehouse Manager.

About The Opportunity
Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee all warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management for our wholesale and DTC customers.
- Ensure all wholesale routing guidelines are followed and all orders are shipped on time and in-full.
- Lead warehouse personnel, delegate responsibilities, and train associates on processes and equipment.
Safety Regulations:
- Adhere to safety regulations outlined by the Occupational Safety and Health Organization.
- Assist with the creation of safety training materials and lead safety meetings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse within 6S standards.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings throughout the supply chain.
- Implement best practices and driving efficiency initiatives, documentation of SOPs, and providing best in class training.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, such as transportation delays, labor gaps, and inventory shortages, to minimize impact on business operations
Performance Management:
- Assist with developing KPIs and metrics to track operational performance, analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and report findings to management.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including order processing, demand planning, and sales to align operational strategies with overall business objectives.
Desired Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in similar role(s).
- Proven operation experience within the consumer-packaged goods industry, including a solid understanding of operational flows, inventory management, Wholesale and DTC fulfillment, and logistics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to motivate and guide warehouse staff.
- Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems (we utilize Logiwa.io as WMS and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as our ERP).
- Strong interpersonal skills to train and assist warehouse associates.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Aptitude to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Required to operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
