Job Description

Summary

We are working with a people-first pharmaceutical company committed to innovation and accessibility looking to grow their Formulation team. As an Associate Scientist in Formulation Development, you'll contribute to the development of solid oral drug products by supporting formulation design, conducting lab experiments, and collaborating with experienced scientists. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and optimization of solid oral dosage forms (e.g., tablets, capsules) under the guidance of senior scientists.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments including pre-formulation studies, prototype development, and stability testing.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of experimental procedures, results, and observations in compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Support scale-up and tech transfer activities by preparing materials and coordinating with internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments including Analytical, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure project alignment.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe, organized working environment.
  • Stay current with industry's best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, preferably with solid oral dosage forms.
  • Familiarity with laboratory techniques, equipment, and documentation practices.
  • Basic understanding of regulatory and quality standards (e.g., cGMP, ICH).
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative setting.
