Job Description

We are seeking a Power BI Developer/Data Analyst . They are in the process of migrating all our data and ERP systems to Vista , and looking for a subject matter expert who can provide actionable insights and create impactful reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of our accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Power BI along with strong SQL scripting and reporting expertise. Vista ERP experience is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and deploy Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support critical business decisions for the accounting team.
• Work closely with various stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements, ensuring dashboards and reports align with business needs.
• Leverage SQL scripting for advanced reporting, querying, and data extraction to connect relevant data sources with Power BI.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are accurate, efficient, and optimized for user experience and performance.
• Support and maintain existing Power BI solutions, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements as needed.
• Experience with Vista ERP data structures and help accounting team members translate ERP data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout migration projects.
• Provide training and support to end-users on interpreting Power BI dashboards and reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer/Data Analyst, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating dashboards and analytics reports tailored to business needs.
• Advanced SQL scripting skills, including experience with custom queries, stored procedures, and data manipulation for reporting purposes.
• Experience working with Vista ERP is required , specifically in understanding its data structures related to accounting processes.
• Strong understanding of data visualization techniques and principles to translate complex datasets into clear and actionable insights.
• Experience connecting and integrating various data sources into Power BI.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally and understand end-user requirements effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
