YOUR ROLE AS A DRAFTER:

The ideal CAD/Point Cloud Drafter will have experience in AutoCAD Civil3D, Point Cloud drafting, and land surveying. A strong digital spatial awareness is crucial in order to handle the manipulation of Point Clouds. The successful candidate must work collaboratively with project team members when necessary, however self-motivation and the ability to work independently is valued.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Associates Degree preferred, or a Certificate from a technical school, preferably in AutoCAD or a related field.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting.
  • Highly skilled in AutoCAD Civil3D.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • 2+ years of survey experience using AutoCAD and similar drafting software preparing survey maps, record of surveys and exhibits. Some experience in land surveying and Point Cloud drafting is preferred.
  • Strong digital spatial awareness to handle manipulation of 3D Point Clouds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel, and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting to meet project deadlines
  • Ability to show the highest level of care and professionalism to our clients.
  • Organized & detail oriented
  • Ability to work in-person and travel to our office in Pipersville 5 days per week, with occasional exceptions
