CNA/PCA/DCA

Part-time (16-24 hours per week)- Great for STUDENTS needing schedule flexibility! If you’re dedicated to helping others and are a friendly, compassionate healthcare professional, this may be the role for you! As a certified nursing assistant, you will have the rewarding opportunity to act as the primary caregiver to our patients with varied levels of mobility who require daily assistance and help them with getting dressed, eating daily meals, activities, and going to the restroom.

Compensation: $17.50 plus shift differential and weekend premium differential!

$17.50 + shift weekend premium differentials

• Attend to the basic care and daily living needs of patients including going to the restroom, bathing, eating daily meals, taking proper medication dosages, and getting dressed
• Provide carefully documented patient information in charts for multiple vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
• Relay important data or changes of patient status to charge nurse or general physician and other facility staff as needed
• Exercise patients as needed to maintain physical health and mobility level

• Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families
• Candidates must have already completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college
• Should have strong physical stamina to reposition and lift patients from beds to examination tables for wheelchairs and move medical equipment
• Proficient computer skills and experience using computer database to ensure patient history is accurately recorded

• Dependable, punctual, and flexible to work scheduled shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Compassionate and respectful attitude towards older adults
