Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our clinical research team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in phlebotomy and a passion for working in clinical research. This role is crucial in supporting the execution of clinical trials and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the coordination and conduct of clinical research studies in compliance with study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements
  • Perform venipuncture and specimen collection, processing, labeling, and shipping according to study-specific protocols
  • Accurately document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information in source documents and electronic case report forms (eCRFs)
  • Support patient recruitment, screening, informed consent, and follow-up visits
  • Prepare and maintain study supplies, exam rooms, and lab equipment
  • Monitor patients for adverse events and report findings to the research team
  • Collaborate closely with clinical research coordinators, investigators, and external partners
  • Maintain confidentiality and data integrity in handling patient information and study data

Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
  • Required proven venipuncture experience
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or research setting preferred
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
