Fab Werks is a family-owned steel fabrication company located in Crest Hill, IL. Our company utilizes fiberoptic laser cutting, press brake forming, and welding to fabricate parts for our customers in various industries. We are looking to expand our operations team with a skilled CNC Laser Programmer that has strong CAD/CAM experience to support production. Visit us at

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to work with 3D (SolidWorks) and 2D (AutoCAD) to engineer laser cut parts for manufacturing and ensuring the production of high-quality finished parts.
• Interpret customer-supplied drawings with keen attention to requirements, tolerances, and notes to develop efficient nesting and cutting programs.
• Have a strong understanding of sheet metal materials, fabrication processes, tolerances, and the ability to reverse engineer parts.
• Utilize Work Orders, drawings, written and verbal instructions to determine job requirements.
• Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts.
• Adjustments to drawings based on revisions, tolerances, and operator feedback.
• Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify compliance with specifications as needed.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a programming position.
• Experience with Mazak Lasers and Nesting Software (SigmaNest) is a plus.
• Knowledge of Laser Cutting, Press Brakes and Welding preferred.
