Job Description
The HT Group is seeking a
Contract Compliance Technician for a 4 to 6-month contract assignment based in Baytown, TX. Must be able to work on site - ** NO PER DIEM**and must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
The schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, with a possible 7am start time (to be confirmed). The pay rate starts at $28+hr DOE. Overtime may be required or expected.
Responsibilities: - ** NO PER DIEM*
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide LPS/LPO feedback
- Review and update Job Safety Analyses (JSA) as needed
- Order and manage safety equipment and materials
- Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and approved chemical lists
- Report all safety incidents and conduct investigations, including RCA
- Conduct regular safety walks and quality reviews of safety procedures
- Assist and coach site safety personnel and enforce safety protocols
- Maintain safety records and documentation for compliance
- Attend and contribute to safety and stewardship meetings
- Participate in training and ensure adherence to safety policies
- Exhibit strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent customer service
- Work independently to ensure tasks are completed safely and on time
Qualifications: - Previous experience working inside a plant environment
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate record-keeping
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) knowledge with a degree or trade school background preferred
- Active TWIC card required
- Must complete ISTC and DISA training prior to starting
