The Project Scheduler is responsible for the collection and evaluation of data required to prepare, update, and monitor heavy civil infrastructure heavy civil infrastructure construction project schedules through the application of corporate scheduling systems, techniques, and procedures.

Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures effective communication between Preconstruction/Estimating, Operations, Project Management, and other associated project teams.
  • Facilitates and drives the process of schedule development and maintenance using Primavera P6 software.
  • Ensures the schedule is prepared, updated, and maintained in compliance with the contract requirements.
  • Assists the Division Manager in determining the monthly revenue based on cost-loaded P6 schedules.
  • Reviews and comprehends project plans and provisions for preparation of proposal schedules as needed to assist in job pursuit efforts.
  • Tracks and inputs delay claims and impacts into the schedule to perform time impact analysis.
  • Creates schedule reports and narratives to accurately depict the project status to the appropriate teams and project owners.
  • Collaborates on and oversees equipment and crew schedules for proper project allocation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job skills and abilities:

  • 2+ years of related construction scheduling experience using Primavera P6 software. Experience with Arkansas Department of Transportation projects is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Skilled in quantifying & analyzing critical path activities.
  • Supports claim evaluations & mitigation issues.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to travel
