Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: South Plainfield, NJ

Type of Employment: Temporary 3 to 4 Months

In Office/Hybrid/Remote: Fully in Office

Hourly: $25 - $27/hr

Job Summary:

A manufacturing company in South Plainfield, NJ is looking to hire a temporary Customer Service Representative for three to four months to cover for a leave. This role requires at least 1 year of order entry and customer service experience from a corporate manufacturing organization as well as experience using Oracle ERP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Process orders received via email from customers in Oracle
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding estimated time of arrival, tracking, invoices, etc.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding orders as needed
  • Learn and implement company certified programs such as HACCP, NSF, SQF, and Food Safety programs
  • Additional ad hoc customer service and administrative tasks as they arise

Required Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 1 year of related experience
  • Oracle ERP required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
