Our client, a Japanese Freight Forwarding company is looking for a Customs Brokerage Agent to join their team

Title: Customs Brokerage Agent

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least 1-2 years US customs brokage or Entry writer experiences
Knowledgeable in US Customs Tariff, Fish & Wildlife Service, FDA and USDA filing requirements
Experiences with air/ocean import freight release
Basic computer skills
Bilingual language ability in Japanese is big plus

JOB DUTIES:

Preparing and submitting necessary documentation for customs clearance, including import/export declarations, invoices, and other required forms
Calculating and ensuring the proper payment of customs duties, taxes, and fees on behalf of clients.
Communicate with carriers and customers via telephone and email
File documents in a timely matter
Track shipments and provide updates for customers
Coordinate delivery scheduling and ensure carrier compliance
