Data Administrator

This Is What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Assist in defining data standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Organize and categorize data to ensure easy accessibility and retrieval.
  • Assist in developing and implementing data management and governance strategies.
  • Monitor data quality and integrity, and proactively address any issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency across systems and processes.
  • Train and educate employees on data management and governance best practices.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data management and governance.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams/
  • Familiarity with data security and compliance regulations is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Works well independently and in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

This Is What It Takes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Preferred)
  • Proven experience, at least 4 years, as a Data Administrator or in a similar role. (Preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of data management principles and best practices, with emphasis on managing and maintaining Data Quality across data assets. (Required)
  • Experience with databases, data warehousing concepts and data management tools (e.g., Databricks, SQL, etc.). (Required)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional) are a plus. (Preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
