Are you a seasoned engineering manager? Do you have experience working on capital projects and leading engineering teams within manufacturing environments? Wonderful! Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local Winchester, VA company as they search for an Engineering Manager to join the growing team. The Engineering Manager will oversee the development and successful execution of projects and multi-disciplined teams by collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders. This team requires a strong leader with a servant leadership style and a desire to do anything it takes to make the team successful. The position will pay $100,000-150,000 for a base plus a quarterly bonus.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Designs, implements, and refines product development, testing, and manufacturing processes
• Manages staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel
• Leads teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes
• Oversees project logistics and resource allocation
• Mentors and develops team members to achieve their full potential
• Strives to improve efficiency and sustainability of processes and designs and to reduce waste
• Secures the resources needed for teams to excel, including researching and proposing capital investments
• Helps to create and oversee project budgets and engages in cost management strategies
• Illustrates and explains technical information for engaging the broader TFC Team (non-technical stakeholders)
• Assures that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines
• Collaborates with other team leaders and departments
• Maintains high level expertise in their field or sector by attending trade shows, conferences, and other sites by increasing awareness of possibilities
• Promote personal and company image throughout the community

Requirements:

• Technical Degree and ten years of relevant experience
• AutoCAD experience and knowledge
• Extensive Project Manager Experience and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Strong leadership experience
• Ability to travel at 25%
