Job Description
Open Systems Technologies is currently looking for an Entry Level Talent Acquisition Generalist to join our team in New York, NY.
Pay: $20-25/hr
Must sit onsite in NYC office
Within this role, you will be responsible for talent acquisition for our company internally across the country. This position will be responsible for sourcing, screening candidates, as well as scheduling and conducting interviews.
Responsibilities:
- Work on strategic projects and initiatives that are aligned with the company’s goals/strategy in recruitment
- Proactively contact passive candidates and sell them on talking to Open Systems
- Source and screen candidates
- Develop, track and report on metrics
- Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting strategy
- Create a pipeline of qualified candidates
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads
- Interact with social media manager as part of recruitment strategy
- Attend networking events
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Applied knowledge of local, state and federal guidelines and regulations related to recruiting
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative, at times with limited resources
- Comfortable with uncertainty and working with a sense of urgency
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
