Johnson County Community College Position, Department: Espresso Barista, Operations
Type of Position: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt
Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week
Pay Range: $15.00

Position Summary: Prepare and serve food and beverages safely and accurately according to local, state, and departmental guidelines.
Required Qualifications: - Requires a High School Diploma

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to: - Take orders, prepare and serve beverages and operate cash register.
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
- Maintain clean workspaces and observe proper food safety.
- Ensure the Cafe presents a welcoming appearance with neatly displayed merchandise and make certain stock levels are maintained.
- Provide relevant beverage and food recommendations to positively and proactively engage with customers.
