About the hiring company: Our client is a national foodservice organization that supports clients across grocery, storefront, restaurants, club, convenience and e-commerce channels.

About the Job: The Foodservice Sales Representative is responsible for calling on independent restaurant operations and demonstrating products as well as presenting new and existing menu items. A culinary background would be a definite asset for this role. Our client will provide an extensive training program for eager candidates.

• Calling on independent restaurant operations by demonstrating, sampling, and showcasing product
• Develop and present new & existing menu items for multiple supplier lines
• Maximize sales by encouraging restaurants to use products represented
• Act as liaison between operator, supplier, and distributor, covering issues and product shortages that arise
• Timely and accurate submission of critical reports with ability to present reports
• Ability to achieve sales projections and targets
• Participate in industry trade shows
• Cook food products and put menu combinations together to aid in the sale process

Requirements:

• Have a valid driver’s license and car
• Intermediate computer and report generating skills
• Be results-oriented and able to meet deadlines and work independently
• 2+ years of food sales, beverage sales, or culinary experience
• Work well with teams and have strong motivational skills
• A positive, professional, and proactive attitude
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have excellent computer skills at an intermediate level
• Have planning and organizational skills
• Have the drive to succeed and a great attitude
• Strong problem solving and strategic planning skills

Salary: $60,000-$70,000 plus car allowance and incentives

Job Status: Direct hire, Full time, Hybrid
