Job Posting: Human Resources / Payroll Assistant Location: El Dorado, AR Job Type: Full-time Salary: Based on Experience Job Description: As the HR/Payroll Assistant, you will assist with various HR and payroll functions, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, managing benefits, and facilitating employee onboarding. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources Tasks: Facilitating onboarding with new employees. Maintain and update employee records in the HR systems. Process employee reviews and salary reviews. Help with HR-related documentation, compliance, and reporting. Organize and coordinate HR events, meetings, and communications. Payroll Tasks: Process payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Maintain payroll records and ensure all employee data is updated (hours worked, deductions, leave, etc.). Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies. Assist in preparing payroll reports for management and external authorities. Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 distribution and tax reporting. Requirements: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in HR or payroll processing (internships or part-time experience is a plus). Knowledge of payroll software (Viewpoint specifically is a plus). Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with numerical data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work well with employees at all levels. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
