Are you a rock star in ice cream sales and frozen novelties?

We are looking for a proven sales leader in ice cream and frozen novelties to join our entrepreneurial organization. The responsibilities of role is sales sales sales, but includes wearing other hats in our entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities include overseeing the daily sales activities, meeting with major clients, designing and implementing effective sales strategies, and marketing company products and services to all food service channels.

To be considered YOU MUST HAVE a proven track record in ice cream and frozen novelty sales. In addition to great sales contact among US grocery retailers, the successful candidate also has great food service contacts, and good leadership skills and the ability to drive company success. Ultimately, you should have an in-depth knowledge of the market and competitive products and have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and outstanding sales and communication skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Strong focus on achievement, both sales and margin

· Setting quarterly and annual sales goals and achieving company goals

· Working with the marketing department to design print and online /digital promotional materials for the company's products and services

· Identifying where improvements can be made and developing sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals

· Logistics and distribution

· Co-manufacturing relationships

· Recruiting and hiring brokers to achieve desired results

· Managing sales teams and maintaining sales operations

· Outlining and managing sales budgets

· Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting

· Reviewing customer activity, anticipating consumer needs, and improving customer satisfaction

· Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team

· Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships

· Managing promotion strategies to maximize results by retailer, effectively

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in a business-related field

· Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales leadership position in sales of ice cream and novelties

· Minimum of 4 years experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software

· In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as distribution and optimizing logistics

· Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market

· Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills

· Great strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills

· Strong relationships and knowledge of top 10 food service channels and targets for frozen ice cream/novelty
