Job Title: IS Application Manager – Senior

Location : Columbus, OH (100% Onsite – 5 Days/Week Required )

Duration : 6 Months (Contract)

Visa: GC, USC only.

We are seeking a Senior IS Application Manager to lead and oversee ATM/POS-related technology initiatives within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing development teams, strong leadership and communication skills, and specific expertise in ATM, POS, or ARGO Teller platforms . This role is critical in supporting delivery, integration, and ongoing improvement of consumer-facing banking applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of application development teams, including scheduling, resource planning, and performance oversight.
• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to ensure integration and development standards are met.
• Drive strategic planning and partner with IT and business leadership to align initiatives with business goals.
• Manage complex or strategic projects across ATM/POS platforms, ensuring timely delivery of quality solutions.
• Lead teams through full SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment.
• Ensure consistent and disciplined project execution, enforcing delivery and documentation standards.
• Maintain technical currency and industry trends in ATM/POS software, financial technologies, and core banking systems.
• Provide production support leadership, including on-call rotation and incident resolution when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software development or IT applications management.
• 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring technical teams in a development environment.
• Demonstrated leadership in large-scale or complex technical initiatives.
• Experience delivering integrated banking or retail technology platforms.
• Excellent team collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.
• Available to support on-call production issues as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ATM, POS, or ARGO Teller platforms (Highly Preferred)
• Financial services or banking domain experience
• Agile certifications (e.g., RTE, Scrum Master, SAFe )
• Experience managing end-to-end technical deliverables, documentation, and cross-functional team alignment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with SDLC tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
