Position: Laboratory Technician

Location: Irvine, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Pay: $20.00-$25.00/hour

Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to perform return complaint product evaluations and related laboratory activities. The Laboratory Technician works under the supervision of a senior scientist or engineer and supports investigative testing and daily laboratory operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct investigational testing and analysis, including data collection and interpretation, under supervision
• Acquire images using digital microscopy and X-ray systems
• Prepare, document, and summarize laboratory data in accordance with internal guidelines
• Observe test results and draw appropriate conclusions
• Maintain accurate and complete records, including methods, measurements, and observations related to assigned evaluations
• Support day-to-day laboratory operations and functions
• Participate in special projects related to the evaluation of existing and developmental products and processes

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Basic data analysis skills with accurate documentation and recordkeeping

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related scientific field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required
