Job Summary: Machine Control Technician

Critical position for the company, a Machine Control Technician installs GPS and Laser control systems on construction equipment. As well as installation, calibrating and supporting running control systems will also be a task. We are looking for the following skills:

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Mechanical ability
• Electrical understanding
• Basic Welding Skills
• Must be comfortable with Windows 10 including file management and system settings.
• Site construction and layout experience or understanding helpful.
• Willing to learn on the job as well as attend provided certified training courses.
• This position will require travel throughout New York state.
• Candidates need to be multi-project oriented and self-motivated within a team structure.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Two year Associates Degree in Heavy Equipment or site Construction preferred.
• Must possess strong technical skills as it relates to GPS equipment.
• There will be travel involved throughout Western New York.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Motivated and passionate ready to work hard within a booming industry.
• Technicians work year round in all-weather elements. Providing support for site contractors engages inner-personal skills. communicating schedules, systems knowledge and training clients.
