JOB TITLE: Manager, Commercial Strategy, Insights & Analytics

DEPT/LOCATION: Bentonville, AR

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our team in Bentonville, AR. As the Commercial Strategy, Insights & Analytics Manager, you will play an important role that will leverage data analytics to drive our strategic planning, sales planning, market positioning, and innovation strategy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by driving growth and profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct robust analysis of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to produce actionable insights that influence our strategy
  • Strategic Category Development: Assist in modeling and research that will guide strategic direction of Future Beauty Brands across all our categories
  • Sales Support: Regularly engage with sales teams to understand retailer needs and provide supporting analytics for key initiatives
  • Brand Support: Regularly engage with brand teams to understand key initiatives and provide KPI tracking to evaluate marketing effectiveness
  • Data Analysis & Reporting : Establish and maintain KPI tracking for various levels (executive, sales, brand), and tailor reporting as needed
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly review Key Performance Indicators and identify business opportunities
  • Leadership and Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to other members of the Commercial Strategy team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years supplier / retailer experience in consumer package goods (beauty industry experience is a plus) environment; cross functional role is a plus (Sales, Logistics, Analytics, Category, Brand)

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Open and accessible leadership style, with the ability to consistently achieve positive results
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the consumer/beauty products industry: (category/brand strategies, category/competitive analysis) with the ability to apply this knowledge to solve complex problems
  • Skilled in processing large amounts of data into clear and concise recommendations
  • Excellent skills and abilities in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and share business presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong influencing skills, with ability to positively influence strategy at the company and with retailers
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to work well across cross functional teams
  • Ability to manage and resolve conflict
  • Strong negotiation skills focused on win/win
