We are seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead and manage our Industrial Security Program supporting Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) contracts.
As the FSO, you will be the security authority for the site, overseeing compliance with the National Industrial Security Program (NISP), 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), ICDs, and DD254 requirements. This role demands leadership in physical, personnel, information, and program security, ensuring our people, facilities, and information remain protected and secure.
🔧 Key Responsibilities :
- Manage comprehensive security operations, encompassing industrial, physical, information, personnel, and program security.
- Lead compliance efforts with NISPOM, ICD 705, and related directives.
- Maintain and oversee COMSEC and Insider Threat Programs.
- Develop and implement security plans, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training, and incident response protocols.
- Conduct internal investigations, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Interface with government security agencies, respond to inquiries, and support inspections.
🎯 Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree + 12 years of security experience, or Master's + 10 years, or 16 years instead of a degree.
- Current FSO Certification (per DCSA requirements).
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on FSO experience .
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance (in-scope T5 investigation).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
✅ Preferred Skills :
- Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, or related field.
- Experience with SIMS, DISS/NBIS, NISS, COMSEC, and Insider Threat programs.
- Certifications: ISP, CPP, or equivalent.
- Familiarity with DCS, FMS, and international travel security requirements.
