Job Description

WTS Energy is looking for a Material Manager who will oversee all Material Management activities across construction projects, ensuring traceability, accuracy, and compliance with both corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

It serves as the key link between Operations, Cost Control, Procurement, Quality, and Project Management , coordinating all material flows, from receipt through utilization to final inventory with JDE ERP as the primary system of record.

Requirements:

• Verify and document all incoming materials against POs and Delivery Notes.
• Record and reconcile material data in JDE ERP to ensure accuracy and traceability.
• Conduct random quantity checks for key materials (concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.).
• Maintain up-to-date stock and material movement records for compliance and audit.
• Plan and coordinate semi-annual inventories with Operations and Cost Control.
• Manage inventory adjustments and reporting in coordination with Finance.
• Prepare monthly Material Management reports (stock balance, discrepancies, KPIs).
• Ensure full documentation and compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Support process automation and digitalization (SharePoint/OneDrive integrations).
• Promote continuous improvement and simplification of material workflows.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years’ experience in Material Management for construction or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in JDE ERP (JD Edwards) for purchasing, tracking, and cost control
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Good understanding of procurement and financial control processes
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Strong cross-functional coordination with Project, Cost Control, and Operations teams
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Italian or Spanish a plus
