A family-owned manufacturing company in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an experienced metal finisher to join their growing team. This role offers steady, long-term work in a clean, climate-controlled shop with opportunities for advancement. Experience in grinding, deburring, or metal finishing is helpful for success in this role.

Location : Saint Paul, MN

Wage : $24/hr.

Hours :

• 5:00 am – 3:30 pm OR 6:00 am – 4:30 pm | Monday – Thursday

Duties of the Experienced Metal Finisher

• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections using hand tools and portable grinders
• Operate a Timesaver or similar industrial grinding equipment (training available if needed)
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to finish metal parts to quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to ensure accurate finishing
• Apply basic shop math to verify measurements and specifications
• Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area

Requirements of the Experienced Metal Finisher

• At least 2 years of experience in grinding, deburring, or metal finishing
• Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
• Comfortable reading and working from blueprints and technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with common shop tools and equipment
• Ability to meet background screening requirements
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and a team-oriented work style
