Shift: 0800-1630 Mon-Fri Postion includes rotating call M-F 1630-0730 and S-S 0700-0700, including holidays, for interventional radiology and CT procedures only. Top Diagnosis/Procedures: Sedation for Invasive Procedures: Port Placements/Removals, Tunneled & Non-Tunneled Line Placements/Removals, CT Biopsies (Liver, Lung, Deep Bone, Bone Marrow, Renal, Lymph Node), Chest Tube Placements, CT Guided Drain Placements, IVC Filter Placements/Removals, Nephrostomy Tubes, Neurovascular Intervention for Stroke. Non-Invasive: Sedation for MRIs, Port Access/Deaccess, MRI Defibrillator/Cardiac Device Monitoring Infrequent/Special Procedures done on unit: Chemo embolizations, Uterine Artery Embolizations Common Medications used: Versed, Fentanyl, Cefazolin, Levaquin, Lidocaine, Nitroglycerin Spray.
