We’re seeking an experienced ICU Nurse Manager to lead our critical care team with compassion, collaboration, and excellence.

About the Role

The Nurse Manager (NM) is a registered nurse and hands-on leader responsible for the daily operations and performance of the ICU. Reporting to the Director of Critical Care Services, the NM ensures high standards of patient care, staff engagement, and compliance with hospital policies.

This role calls for a strong communicator and problem-solver who can motivate, mentor, and develop nursing staff while maintaining quality outcomes and resource efficiency. The Nurse Manager serves as a change agent, promoting continuous improvement and fostering a positive, respectful work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support ICU nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance for assigned unit(s)
• Foster teamwork, professional growth, and accountability among staff
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes
• Ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive process improvements that enhance patient and team experiences

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
• Licensure: Current Florida RN license; BLS and ACLS required
• Certification: National professional certification preferred
• Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience required; 3–5 years of ICU leadership experience highly preferred
• Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and team-building abilities
