Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, School-Based

Saint Joseph’s Medical Center is seeking a full - time and/or part - time Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for the ‘25-‘26 school year with the option to begin earlier completing evaluations over the summer. Reporting to the Director of the School-Based Rehab Program and OT Supervisor, the OT or COTA will provide intervention for children in the Yonkers Public Schools, document sessions and progress, prepare Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians and teachers. OTs will also evaluate students and may have the opportunity to provide supervision to, and documentation for, COTAs. Interested therapists may also have the chance to provide aquatic therapy to students.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and strong communication skills; written and verbal. Must have excellent organizational skills and be flexible.
New York State Occupational Therapy or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License required.

Salary: $46.80 to $150.00 per hour.
Salaried opportunity may be available.
