Job Description

PSG has partnered with a growing company in the healthcare industry looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team supporting payroll operations across their five Colorado facilities. This position works closely with the Payroll Manager and plays a key role in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for a large, primarily hourly workforce.

Job Duties

• Process biweekly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees across five Colorado facilities
• Support a mix of hourly and salaried employees
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Partner with the Payroll Manager to oversee day-to-day payroll operations and process improvements
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits
• Utilize Paylocity for payroll processing and reporting
• Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist with employee inquiries and provide payroll support as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a multi-location or high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of Colorado payroll laws and tax requirements
• Experience with Paylocity or similar payroll systems preferred
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable working remotely, with occasional requirement to visit on-site locations in Colorado
