Prior Authorization Specialist (Pharmacy Call Center)
Location: Detroit, MI (Hyrbid) Mostly remote but with occasional office visits.
Duration: 12 Months
Pay: $20-23/hr
Description:
This Pharmacy Technician Role is within a remote contact center. We service Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and Blue Cross Network Medicare Part D Members and Providers. Our goal is to handle inbound mail related to M3P program, as well as Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations. Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
Work Hours:
Monday thru Friday 8am and as late as 6pm in office days. On-site on rotational basis. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Help desk is opened Mon. – Fri. 8am to 6pm.
Peak Season Oct. to Mar.
Schedules are based on seniority and company needs

Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years
Good computer skills (Typing, outlook, excel, etc)
Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
