Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Physician Assistant located in National City, CA. The Physician Assistant will work collaboratively with physicians to provide high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include performing physical examinations, accurately recording patient histories, diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions, prescribing medications, and educating patients on preventative healthcare. This role also involves interpreting diagnostic tests, and contributing to the ongoing care and treatment plans for patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) with current certification from an accredited institution
• Understanding of cardiovascular care, including prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Proficient in conducting physical exams, diagnosing conditions, performing procedures, and prescribing medications
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site medical environment
• Experience in cardiovascular or primary care settings is highly desirable
• Bilingual English-Spanish
