Plumbing REVIT Designer
Location: Miami, FL
Type: On-site Only
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 (Based on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Plumbing REVIT Associate to join a reputable and fast-paced engineering firm in Miami, FL . This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in plumbing design who are looking to grow in a collaborative and technically driven environment.
You’ll work alongside senior engineers to support the design and coordination of plumbing systems for a range of residential and commercial projects. This is a full-time, on-site position , offering the chance to build your career with a team that values technical precision and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Drafting: Create comprehensive plumbing designs and technical drawings using Revit with precision and adherence to all relevant codes and standards.
- Project Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure plumbing systems are well-integrated into the overall building plans.
- Code Compliance: Stay updated on local, state, and national plumbing codes to ensure all designs meet regulatory requirements.
- Sustainability Integration: Incorporate eco-friendly solutions such as low-flow fixtures, greywater systems, and rainwater harvesting technologies.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation including system layouts, specifications, and installation instructions.
- Construction Support: Provide technical assistance during project implementation and help resolve on-site design issues.
- Quality Assurance: Review designs for accuracy, feasibility, and compliance; assist in internal QA processes to maintain excellence in project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in mechanical systems, drafting, or related field (preferred).
- +5 years of experience in plumbing or MEP drafting/design using REVIT
- Deep understanding of plumbing codes and industry standards (e.g., IPC, UPC, ASPE).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset.
- Knowledge of sustainable plumbing technologies and LEED standards is a plus.
