CarMax is a data driven company. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Data Governance/Data Quality Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in implementing Data Governance and Data Quality frameworks/tools. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of Data Governance, Metadata, and Data Quality processes, and be able to adapt these to CarMax specific needs. This role requires innovative thinking, a hands-on approach, ability to learn quickly and formulate effective solutions as part of an agile team. Familiarity with creating Critical Data Elements, data quality rules, alerts monitoring, and Issue Management is essential. Work Location and Arrangement: This role will be based out of the Richmond, VA Technology Innovation Center or Dallas Technology Hub in Plano, TX and have a Hybrid work arrangement.
