**Job Title: Roll Off Driver**

**Pay Range:** DOE $220 per day
**Description:**
Florida Express Waste & Recycling is looking for a **safety-conscious Roll Off Driver** to join our growing team in **Ocala, FL** . As part of the Waste Connections family, we pride ourselves on providing essential waste services with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.
**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Safely operate a Roll Off truck on designated routes to collect solid waste.
+ Read and follow route sheets; service each customer as assigned.
+ Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (fluids, safety equipment, tires).
+ Load and unload containers manually when necessary.
+ Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of waste at designated facilities.
+ Interact courteously with customers and perform other duties as assigned.
**Schedule:**
+ **Monday-Friday** , with occasional **Saturdays as needed**
+ **50-55 hour work week**
**Working Conditions & Physical Effort:**
+ Requires **strenuous physical work** including heavy lifting (50+ lbs), pushing, and pulling.
+ Exposure to **moving mechanical parts** , **fumes** , **vibration** , and **moderate noise** .
+ Frequent exposure to **wet/humid conditions** and **outdoor weather** .
+ Must follow all **basic safety precautions** .
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Valid **Class A or B CDL**
+ **Must be able to drive a manual transmission truck** - **no automatic restrictions** .
+ **2+ years of experience** directly related to the role.
+ Basic knowledge of truck components for pre- and post-trip inspections.
+ Waste industry experience preferred but not required.
