🔬 What You’ll Do

As a Science Teacher in Lee County, you’ll:

  • Design engaging, inclusive lesson plans that spark curiosity and support diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate on curriculum planning to meet departmental goals and enhance academic achievement.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Use technology and hands-on activities to bring scientific concepts to life.
  • Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and tailor instruction to help every student thrive.
  • Partner with colleagues, families, and specialists to support student success.
  • Maintain classroom order with fairness, consistency, and empathy.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Florida teaching certificate (or out-of-state equivalent in the appropriate content area)
