Dirty Bird is a new RTD drinks brand born from the founders of the iconic Blue Parrot in East Hampton, NY. We’re a small, ambitious team looking to make a big splash in the rapidly growing RTD space.

Backed by strong partnerships with top-tier distributors and producers, we’re ready to introduce Dirty Bird to the world. We’ll be launching with three bold flavors, a cheeky mascot, and a brand voice that you’ll help build.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Social Media Manager who’s equal parts planner and creative, community-builder and data-lover. You’ll work closely with the founder and creative team to bring Dirty Bird to life across all social platforms, helping us craft an authentic brand voice and build an engaged audience from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Social Media Calendar Management: Plan, schedule, and maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms (IG, TikTok, X, Facebook) 
  • Content Creation Support: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, draft, and repurpose short-form content—including graphics, Reels, TikToks, and memes. 
  • Community Engagement: Be the voice of Dirty Bird—respond to comments, DMs, and mentions, and engage with relevant creators and communities to grow brand awareness.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance metrics, compile regular reports, and recommend optimizations based on insights.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep a pulse on social trends, memes, and emerging platforms to help Dirty Bird stay culturally relevant and abreast of the competition. 

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–2 years experience in social media, content marketing, or digital marketing (internships count!)
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and digital culture
  • Excellent written communication and a natural sense of voice, tone, and timing
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Bonus: Graphic design, video editing, or influencer outreach experience
