Job Description
We have two private schools in the Bronx, near Yankee Stadium, that need one or more paid interns or teachers to provide academic support for high school students. The students in one school require a total of approximately 200 sessions per 5-day week. The students in the other school need over 30 sessions per week. Qualifications: - Candidates must hold a certificate from the Department of Education as an intern or as a teacher of students with disabilities, literacy or another relevant certificate.
- NY City's Department of Education, DOE, will clear all candidates prior to employment.
Responsibilities:
- Monthly invoices.
- Student progress reports per DOE requirements.
- Instructing students individually and in groups of up to five.
