Responsibilities: - As a Senior Network Engineer, I will leverage my 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting Cisco ACI solutions based on business and technical requirements. My role involves understanding data center networking principles, application requirements, and security considerations, which are essential for deploying Cisco ACI fabric and associated networking components, such as spine switches, leaf switches, and APIC controllers.
- I will focus on configuring ACI policies, tenant networking, VLANs, VXLANs, access policies, and Quality of Service (QoS) settings while optimizing network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Additionally, I plan to use automation tools (like Python scripts, Ansible, or Cisco's APIC API) to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management tasks within the ACI fabric.
- I will monitor the health and performance of the ACI fabric and troubleshoot network issues while ensuring compliance with organizational security standards. Documenting network designs, configurations, procedures, and changes will also be part of my responsibilities. I will generate reports on network performance, capacity planning, and infrastructure health while working closely with cross-functional teams to support their requirements.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Cisco ACI technology advancements is crucial, and I will share insights and mentor junior team members, identifying opportunities to enhance network efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Additionally, I will propose and implement improvements to the ACI fabric based on industry best practices and emerging technologies.

The expected salary range for this position is $114,750 to $155,250, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
I will be working 40 hours per week with less than 10% travel required. The role will be primarily onsite at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida.
