Job Title: Supply Chain Manager (Food/Beverage/FMCG)

Locations: Onsite at either of the two locations (LA/NYC)

Term: Perm / Full-Time

Salary: $80k-100k/yr base pay (Salary is open depending on the experience)

Industry: Beverage and Retail industry

Travel: Need to go to China for 4 weeks of training

Job Overview:

Responsible for supply chains in different countries around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

Global supply chain layout: formulate overseas supply chain strategies, optimize procurement networks (tea/cups/equipment), establish a multi-regional supplier backup mechanism, and reduce the risk of supply interruption.
Supplier management: screen and evaluate local high-quality suppliers, negotiate annual procurement agreements (price/credit period/quality standards), and promote suppliers to pass BRC, ISO and other certifications.
Cost and efficiency control: monitor indicators such as inventory turnover rate and procurement cost ratio, introduce VMI (vendor managed inventory) model, and coordinate cross-border logistics to reduce transportation losses.
Compliance management: ensure that all links in the supply chain comply with local food safety regulations (such as FDA, EU FIC), and deal with customs inspections, trade barriers and other issues.

Skills/Requirements:

Business-level proficiency in English and Mandarin is required due to the nature of the role involving frequent communication with Mandarin-speaking clients or partners.
Bachelor degree or above, supply chain management, international trade major is preferred, overseas study/work experience preferred.
Cross-border supply chain management experience.
Experience in the Food and Beverage industry or FMCG.
Can independently handle international procurement contracts and customs documents, and have the ability to collaborate across time zones.
Candidates with supply chain certifications such as CSCP and CPIM are preferred, and are good at using management systems such as SAP and Oracle.
