Tableau BI Developer
SQL Competency and BI Tool Proficiency / Technical/Functional Skills
- 8+ years of experience into BI tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in Tableau and knowledge in Power BI and data visualization skills
- Strong understanding of data analysis, familiarity with databases like Postgres, SQL, and AWS Athena
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and write SQL queries for data extraction and optimization.
- Implementation of best practices on dashboards and staying updated with Tableau advancements
- Experience with data modeling and understanding database structures.
- Experience working with Annuity insurance data
- Experience with Agile methodology and using JIRA is preferred
The candidate has to be experienced in terms of data visualization as well as project leadership. Migration experience from any tool to Tableau would be a plus.

- Utilize Tableau and data visualization skills to design creative and visually appealing self-service dashboards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand the business questions and requirements for data analysis
- Work Independently on projects of moderate complexity and translate business requirements into Tableau solutions
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in Tableau and other relevant technologies to improve data visualization capabilities
