Job Description:

This entry-level Management Analyst position provides essential data collection, analysis, and direct customer support for the financial aid and scholarship programs. The individual will play a key role in evaluating program efficiencies and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, while serving as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and higher education institutions. Provide outstanding customer service to external customers: students, parents, colleges, and other organizations.

  • Respond to phone calls and emails by maintaining the higher education email inbox and voicemail.
  • Provide technical support for the scholarship application and payment processes
  • Research information about financial aid programs to support student and parent inquiries
  • Redirect calls to other workgroups Process supplemental scholarship application materials.
  • Review transcripts and update academic records in the scholarship database
  • Screen and process Academic Common Market residency applications
  • Review and document educator licensure information for educator financial aid programs
  • Maintain records of all scholarship applications and inquiries

Loan Incentive Program Support

  • Serve as the primary communication contact for loan recipients.
  • Support the employment verification process by collecting required forms and

confirming receipt of documentation.

  • Monitor service completion progress and follow up with recipients as needed.
  • Conduct routine audits of recipient profiles to ensure documentation accuracy and

compliance with program requirements.

  • Provide recommendations to improve workflow efficiency, strengthen internal

controls, and enhance resource utilization.

  • Follow requirements for filing and archiving all program-related documents.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Technical Assistance: Demonstrated experience providing front-line technical assistance or support to customers, clients, or program participants.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting/filtering, basic formulas, and maintaining spreadsheets.
  • Document Management: Experience with filing, archiving, and maintaining organized records in accordance with established procedures or retention schedules.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to convey information clearly, respond to inquiries professionally, and maintain positive customer interactions.
  • Possession of a Bachelors degree or higher which includes coursework in conducting studies, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics.
  • Experience in conducting studies (evaluating operations, programs, policies, etc., for efficiency, effectiveness, goal-compliance, and regulatory compliance).
  • Experience in descriptive statistics (e.g., mean, median, mode, or standard deviation).
  • Experience in narrative report writing.
  • Knowledge of inferential statistics (e.g., correlation, t-tests, f-tests, or analysis of variance).
