Job Description

Aegis is seeking a qualified Area Account Manager to join our client's organization. This person can live anywhere in the United States and will work fully remote for our clients organization. The role travels 50-70% travel in the Southeast Region of the US to customer sites. The ideal candidate has the following experience:

• 3+ years of sales experience in rigid or flexible packaging- ideally selling to customers in the Food/Bev industry- this won’t be someone’s entry level but someone who has their career ahead of them.
• Experience building long-term client relationships.
• Experience in a role where this person has cultivated and nurtured client relationships, understanding needs, and tailoring selling solutions to exactly what they are looking for.
• Experience using a CRM system-HubSpot
• Hunter Mentality
• Experience with Microsoft suite- computer literacy is important. Able to keep track of sales prospects, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 50-75%- Able to use their own vehicle and have a valid driver’s license.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management/Marketing, Sales, or related degree.
• Experience managing/growing a 12M account through new business development.
• Experience in packaging industry & experience in supporting businesses with perishable food products. Also experience with packaging machinery, material types and processes in plastics packaging industry would be helpful!
• Experience working cross functionally with internal teams (production, sales support, CSR, logistics, etc.)
• Desire to grow into a Regional Account Manager
