Our client, a successful apparel company, is looking for a Graphic Design Associate/Assistant to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities
- Design and develop original prints and graphics in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
- Take artwork from initial concept through to pre-production readiness.
- Partner closely with the design team to establish timelines and ensure artwork is delivered on schedule.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring designs to completion.
- Stay informed on new trends and concepts in prints and graphics to inspire fresh ideas.
- Maintain expertise in creating factory-ready files and seamless repeats.
- Encourage teamwork and innovation by sharing research insights and recommending process improvements.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in print or graphic design, or a related discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for textile and surface design.
- Strong illustration and painting skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent time management abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
- Resilient and positive when working under pressure.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
