Overview: (Active Bar Admission in CA highly preferred)

We are seeking a Temporary Attorney to join the contracting team within the Legal Department. This role will support IT, privacy, and information security contracting needs, as well as other G&A functions as required. The ideal candidate will bring strong transactional experience and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, professional services agreements, software licenses, cloud computing agreements, data processing agreements, and amendments.
• Provide guidance on existing agreements and advise contracts managers on complex negotiations.
• Identify and communicate risks to internal stakeholders and ensure contracts align with business and legal needs.
• Collaborate with internal clients across departments to address legal and business questions.
• Support the development and improvement of contract templates, playbooks, and processes.

Qualifications:

• JD and active bar admission required (California preferred).
• 5–7 years of transactional experience in law firm or in-house legal environments, with a focus on IT-related agreements.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CLM systems required.
• Strong judgment, independence, and ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously.
