Keller and Heckman LLP, an international law firm based in Washington D.C., is seeking a talented junior or mid-level associate attorney to join our growing Litigation practice in our San Francisco Office. The Associate will have the opportunity to assist on a broad range of litigation and to support our Food and Drug regulatory practice.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in Federal and State courts, with experience in one or more areas associated with the firm’s practices such as false advertising, environmental (including Proposition 65), food and drug, occupational health and safety/employment, product liability and safety, insurance, privacy, and telecom. General commercial litigation and E-Discovery experience is also a plus.
Strong academic credentials; excellent analytical, research, writing, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and the ability to assume immediate responsibility are required. General litigation skills are required; experience with Proposition 65 and/or false advertising is a plus. Must be a California barred attorney.
A desire to learn, and an ability to manage multiple client priorities and take direction are critical. Successful associate will be given significant client responsibility early on, including direct client contact. The position requires collaboration across all firm offices on challenging and interesting work involving cutting-edge regulatory and health and safety issues while working in a collegial, team-based atmosphere.
We offer an excellent benefit package, bonus plan, and salary commensurate with experience. The salary range is $175,000 - $225,000 which represents the presently anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salary may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience. A full and comprehensive healthcare package is offered (medical, prescription drugs, vision, and dental).
