🌿 Purchasing Agent

On Site: Riverside

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We’re looking for a Purchasing Agent to join our growing team and help us bring large-scale construction projects to life through smart, efficient procurement of landscape materials.

Duties

• Source and procure plants, raw materials, and equipment for major landscaping projects.
• Consult catalogs and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and accurate specifications.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of purchases, transfers, pricing, and inventory.
• Track job-cost budgets and analyze variances to ensure financial accuracy.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure the best terms, pricing, and rebates.
• Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile vendor accounts and resolve delivery issues.
• Support additional procurement and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.
